Working after getting my college degree. I hope to go to college on a coast, preferably in Los Angels but I am also looking at a school in South Carolina.  After I graduate, I hope to get a job in one of those cities. Therefore, I hope to have a job in the field that i got my college degree in.

Yesterday I had you choose a global issue and you wrote about it on your blog. Today on your blog I want you to tell me about two different perspectives of your global issue. Are there people for an against your issue? Do people disagree on your issue? Is it a topic that can cause controversy? Look at the issue for two different perspectives. Tell me about those perspectives.

When concerning Autism, there are many controversial issues. One example is, streamlining students into the regular classrooms. People that are for this may see all of the benefits that the students are getting when they get to sit in an actual classroom. They get to experience what it would be like to be a regular student and get regular class participation. The people for this issue could argue that it prepares them for later in life when they are no longer in school, they get to be around many other students. However, on the other side of this issue they could argue that having kids with Autisim could be a distraction to the rest of the students. The students with Autisim do require more attention and some might believe that this takes away form the other students trying to learn. They also may believe that it is not fair that they get individualized learning plan.

I know very little about Autism. I have worked for years now with children who have Autism and I would like to know more about it. I wan to know what research has been done and I would like to know if there is any possible cures out there. It has not really effected my life, however, i have worked inside and outside of school with students who have Autism and my mother is a para. I would say yes I am very passionate about it.

Last week I asked your to "think differently" and push yourself to be uncommon with your PSA project using Google Slides. Why do you think I asked you to do that? What is the point? Why not just use bullets and headers? Explain.
 To make it more interesting. Doing the same thing over and over again in google slides does not let the student learn and does not allow them to fully understand everything that google can offer for them. Besides we have known how to do bullets and headers our whole life so just doing another project with them would not be very much fun.

Kids these days are all obsessed with their phones and out getting into trouble. Their music is tasteless and it gives me a headache. You ca'n't have a conversation with them because they are always on their phones or talking to someone else. They also are always tweeting everything out about their lives. Like who cares what you ate for dinner? I do not understand it at all. Times have changed so much since I was a kid and I have got to say that it is not for the better.

What is a public service announcement (PSA)? What do PSA's do? What makes a good PSA? How can you get someone to take action after watching a PSA? What is you PSA idea? Explain in detail.

A PSA is a commercial or a add that you see that speaks out against something wrong, or something that the author f the PSA thinks is wrong. PSA's raise awareness to the truth about some issues that can have horrible causes. A god PSA contains information and facts that keep the viewer interested while at the same time informing them about the issue at hand. You could get someone to take action by putting how to take action at the end of your PSA so if they do want to help now they know how they can help. I want to do my PSA on cyber bulling because I feel that it could help with this increasing issue.

Tell me all about your 3 day weekend. Share photos!

This weekend I had a volleyball tournament down town. it was on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday but on Saturday and Sunday we only had it in the afternoon so I had the mornings free. On Friday I hung out with some of my friends then we went to breakfast on Saturday then I had to go play volleyball. I also hung out with my friends whenever i wasn't playing volleyball.

I am in 11th grade at BVHS. Over the years I have played volleyball, basketball, and softball. This year my favorite class has been my AVID class because I know everyone in there so I don't really have to meet anyone new. I am looking forward to the end of the year because then i will be a senior and I can't wait to be a senior.

What are your thoughts on this class so far? Easy? Hard? Informative? Frustrating? What have you learned so far? What do you want to learn? Explain yourself.\
I think this class is really interesting because it is doing things that i never would have done if i hadn't taken this class. For example making my own blog. If I did not take this class then i never would have thought to make my own blog and if I did I would not have known how. So far I have found it pretty easy if you just follow the directions and pay attention. I think the most frustrating thing that has happened so far is when the same people ask the same questions over and over again and still don't understand. I want to learn more about what a computer can do for me because I don't know a lot about that now.

 This weekend I did not do much. On Friday I wet out to eat and then went over to my friends house and watched a movie and stayed there. On Saturday I went to Oak Park mall and bought a bath bomb at lush and then me and my friends went to nothing bunt cakes and then I had to babysit Saturday night. Yesterday I had a volleyball scrimmage then had to go see the movie Unbroken for extra credit for my history class.

Read this small newspaper clipping and then write a blog post about it. What are your thoughts? How does it make you feel? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself

This principal is really aggressive about his views. Obviously he is sick of teenagers being teenagers we are not supposed to be "washing the windows" and "getting a job" because we are teenagers and at our age we are supposed to be having fun, we have the rest of our life to do all of those things. I feel like he could be talking to the kids that live in Johnson County because people are always telling us that we have everything handed to us and that we don't really appreciate anything but I don't think that is true. I do realize that we live a cushioned life style but I think the students here work just as hard if not harder to get into colleges and do not simply have it handed to them. I also don't think that because you complain about some stuff that makes you a cry baby, everyone complains it is just something humans do.
